Getting to the show
Travel & Accommodation
Below are some helpful tips on how to get to the show.
You’ll find the NEC clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6 - just pop North Ave, B40 1NT in your sat nav. To save money, pre-book your parking before arrival here.
You won’t even need to brave the elements. Direct services run all day, however if you’re travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is less than a 15-minute journey away.
From Birmingham Airport you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes.

Whilst the NEC is a cashless venue, some exhibitors will accept cash, so we recommend to bring some along if you would like to. Please note that there will not be any cash machines in service inside of the venue, if you need to withdraw cash on the day, you will have to find an alternative location.
How to get there by...

When you arrive at the NEC don’t follow your sat nav anymore, look out for the Homebuilding & Renovating Show on the digital car park signs. To save money (on-the-day fees are £16.95 and pre-booked spaces are £12.95), pre-book your parking before arrival here. Then, simply jump on the free shuttle bus or take a leisurely stroll along the signposted footpaths.

We’ve teamed up with TOA Taxis to ensure a safe, friendly service is available to you 24/7 at the NEC
You can book over the phone by calling 0121 427 8888 or 0800 0142 729, online or via their handy app. Alternatively, pick one up at the clearly marked ranks outside our main entrances. For added convenience TOA Taxis accept all major credit cards, subject to a charge of 10%+VAT.
Other Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles
If you plan to arrive at the NEC using other Taxi or Private Hire provider you will be dropped off at either the Piazza drop off and pick up area or the Atrium entrance.
